About Make-A-WIsh

Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Since our inception in 1994, Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida has granted over 6,120 wishes. Our chapter covers 54 counties including the Central, Northern, Space Coast and Suncoast Regions of Florida. All the money we raise stays local to grant the wishes of children in our communities.

The average cost of one wish is $8,000. The whole family is included in the wish and we completely cover the entire cost of whatever the wish may be. In Fiscal Year 2019, Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida granted 240 wishes. The most popular wish was to go on a Disney Cruise!
